About the New Testament
Here are the books of the New Testament in the order they appear in the Bible. They tell the stroy of Jesus and the early church.

Matthew

The story of Jesus told with the Jews mainly in mind. See how Jesus fulfils the Old Testament prophecies, how revolutionary His teaching and how baffling His mission as a "murdered messiah."

Mark

This is the earliest and shortest of the gospels. It tells with urgency, not only the broad outline of Jesus' life and impact, but also provides practical and powerful guidance on down to earth Christian living.

Luke

A massively researched and systematically written account of the ONE person qualified to lead and save all people (not just the Jews) for ALL TIME. Only in Luke do we meet the good Samaritan and those TWO prodigal sons.

John

The last of the four gospels to be written, John provides the "inside story" behind all the, well-known features of Jesus ministry. He even tells us why he wrote this gospel

Acts

The story of how the gospel news spread like wild fire throughout the whole Roman world. Careful readers recognise four parts of Luke's personal travel diary.
All readers are aware that this is no mere history book.


Romans

1 Corinthians

In this letter Paul confronts the thoroughly Greek cultured believers and leaves them in no doubt that they are not very Christian. He then goes on to answer some of the most searching Christian questions.

2 Corinthians

Paul had upset the Corinthian Christians. This letter marks the ending of the crisis but again - no punches are pulled.

Galatians
